Quality gets a higher turn-over, but more profit?

What is “Quality” and what includes and who affects it? I will discuss that in this contribution.

We see on the picture a ascent, a circle and a small red cone. The ascent is the development splint, the circle the product or the process to manufacture a product and the red cone is the quality. We try to get the circle ahead the ascent of the development splint. So that the circle won't roll back we have the cone which keep the developed product or process at the new level. The graphic shows us the procedure of quality enhancement.

Employees and manager will have the effect on the process, the picture shows.

The manager have to motivate the staff. They have to release the power to roll the circle forward. The drive motor is the manager. And the employees have to involve their engagement to roll the circle and to pan the cone. The success of the power of the team will increase their motivation. Now the manager has to lead the group towards the “development of quality” to reach the enhancement.

Moreover the product will be better and more attractive for the customers. I will leave the product live circle out. We generate through quality more turn-over. We have reasons to believe that the profit will stagnate or improve because the costs of quality management will rise. Certainly the affect of the implementation and the product itself is a reason. But I like to think about the rising of the profit through a good implementation of quality management despite a rising of costs.

Because of that the profit of the company is grown.

Conclusion:

Because of the merciless cut-throat competition the entrepreneur will be forced to do quality management. The bar is raised today and who doesn't pan with the new standards will be destroyed. Because who provides quality will be in the running of the marked. Manager have to rock the employees to tour the exciting trip through the land of qualities.

Qualität bringt mehr Umsatz, aber auch mehr Gewinn?

Aber war ist eigentlich Qualität, woraus besteht sie und wer beeinflusst sie? Das möchte ich in diesem Beitrag näher erörtern.

Auf dem Bild sehen wir eine Steigung, einen Kreis und einen kleinen roten Kegel. Die Steigung ist die Entwicklungsschiene, der Kreis ist das Produkt oder der Prozess zur Herstellung des Produktes und der rote Kegel ist die Qualität. Wir versuchen die Kugel immer weiter auf der Entwicklungsschiene vorankommen zu lassen. Damit die Kugel aber nicht zurückrollt haben wir den Kegel, der unser verbessertes Produkt, bzw. den Prozess bei dem neuen Level hält. Diese Grafik zeigt uns den Vorgang der Qualitätssteigerung.

Dieser Prozess, sprich das Bild wird durch die Mitarbeiter und die Führungskräfte beeinflusst. Die Führungskräfte müssen den Mitarbeitern motivieren. Kraft muss freigesetzt werden, um die Kugel zu schieben. Der Manager agiert als Antriebsmotor.

Die Mitarbeiter müssen durch ihr Engagement die Kugel vorantreiben und den Kegel mitziehen. Dieser Erfolg der Stärke des Teams muss weitere Motivation freisetzen. Jetzt kann der Manager das Team lenken, damit das Ziel „Qualitätssteigerung“ (Verbesserung) erreicht wird.

Das Produkt wird dadurch verbessert, somit für die Kunden attraktiver. Den Produktlebenszyklus lasse ich mal außen vor. Es wird durch die Qualität also mehr Umsatz generiert. Jetzt gibt es Grund zur Annahme, dass der Gewinn gleich bleibt oder sinkt, da ja auch die Kosten für Qualitätsmanagement steigen. Natürlich kommt es immer auf die Durchführung und das Produkt an. Aber ich nehme gerne an, dass der Gewinn durch richtig durchgeführtes Quality-management steigt, trotz gestiegener Kosten.

Somit ist der Unternehmensgewinn gewachsen.

Fazit:

Durch den gnadenlosen Verdrängungswettbewerb wird der Unternehmer heute dazu gezwungen Qualitätsmanagement durchzuführen. Die Messlatte ist heute wieder höher gelegt worden und wer nicht mitzieht geht schlicht und ergreifend unter. Denn nur wer Qualität liefert bleibt im Rennen.

Manager müssen also die Mitarbeiter mitreißen können, die spannende Reise durch das Land der Qualitäten mitzugehen.
